[1] PFD: Proposal for Decision: An administrative law judge (ALJ) reviews the case up to this point and writes their findings in a proposed decision for the case. The Commission takes the PFD (and exceptions to the proposal, and replies to those exceptions) into account when issuing its final decision (order) in the case. The commission is required to issue its final order within 10 months of the date the utility filed the application.
[2] The purpose of this hearing is to address objections and responses to those objections [3] [4] [5] [6] to DTE Electric’s proposed protective order in the case.
The MPSC publishes additional general information about the rate case process on their website.
[7] The March 14 Motion Hearing has been cancelled because the parties have waived oral argument on the matter.
